Hinamatsuri is an event held every year on March 3rd in Japan to celebrate the health and happiness of girls. It is also known as the "Momo-no-Sekku (Peach Festival)" and it is common for families to gather together and pray for the longevity and happiness of girls. It is also said that displaying Hina dolls will ward off misfortune, create good relationships, and bring good fortune to the family.
